All homework will be set to students using the Satchel 1 website and app (previously Show My Homework). All students and parents have access to this system.

Key Stage 4 Homework

The core subjects, English, maths, and science will set one piece of homework a week. In addition, the option subjects will also set one piece of homework each week. Each homework should be expected to take no more than 45 minutes.

There may be exceptions to these allocations in certain subject areas where homework may form part of an ongoing portfolio of work. 

There may be slight variations in the timings of the homework each week. This is to ensure that the homework set is relevant to the work being completed in class.

Key Stage 3 Homework

In key stage 3 subjects aim to set h/w in line with a planned sequence of learning.

For all students, homework should not be set to be completed by the following day.
