OUR EXAM RESULTS ARE THE BEST EVER!!!

THE MEOLE BRACE SCHOOL CLASS OF 2011 ARE IN A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN!

Meole Brace School Science College has achieved its best ever GCSE examination results with a fantastic 73% of
Year 11 students gaining at least 5 GCSE passes at grades A*-C including English and Maths.

Amazingly, 20 students achieved the remarkable feat of passing all their examinations with grades of A* or A, again a record result for the school.

Congratulations to you, our brilliant Year 11's, from the staff, Years 7-10 and all our friends and supporters in the Meole Brace community.  We wish all of you the very best in your future lives and careers and don't forget:  you will always be a part of Meole Brace School.

GOOD LUCK!

Advice and Help (CHAT)

At Meole Brace School Science College we pride ourselves that "every child matters". We are fortunate that we provide a service called C.H.A.T. - Confidential Help and Advice for Teens. A multi agency network that provides help and advice for any young person aged 11-19. Workshops are held every Thursday lunchtime in the school foyer. On hand are our School Nurse Jo France and Sara Altinok from Barnardos. Tina Dubell and Julie Humphries from the Youth Service and Connexions can also be accessed through school. Pupils will be informed every week, via registration, of which workshop will be presented that week. Services will provide information on various topics such as health issues, stress, sexual health, bullying and relationships. A worry free pupil is happier in school and can enjoy their studies more, knowing there are people available to listen.
