SKI TRIP LA MOLINA 2015
49 Students and 5 staff jetted off to sunny Spain this Easter to …. SKI?
Yes, indeed! Skiing in the Spanish Pyrenees at Easter! With gorgeous views, blue skies and high temperatures, it was a risk! But at that height (2200m), we had fabulous snow in the morning, although, it was a tad slushy in the afternoon. Consequently, we opted for 5hours straight through skiing which was, physically, very demanding, but the progress was excellent, and we are very proud of our students, well done.
The hostel, their staff, the food, the rep and the instructors all contributed to a fantastic experience, as did the equivalent of a spar shop ‘Gemma’s’ right next door. But, probably the most hilarious and unique experience was the alarm to wake us up every morning…… “ Gummy Bear” was blasted out of speakers in each room to let us know it was time to start our day! You will need to You tube it, to truly appreciate it. Make sure the volume is up high! We, the staff, who took our students, would like to say a huge thank you to them for making it such a fantastic trip. The hostel staff, rep and instructors were all very impressed with the quality of Meole Brace School students.
